One of the best wedding ceremonies I’ve filmed. End of story…
Okay, not really the end of the story. Just really an amazing ceremony, for some very basic reasons. The wedding officiant was David’s business partner and he nailed it. All of the important checks were marked off. Personal, intimate, funny, well-planned, not overly long (but long enough). And just really fun. Check, check, check.
I think this wedding had all of the best parts of what I really love to film. A lot of family interaction, great weather, beautiful scenery, great cultural and historical inclusions and just a great couple. And loads of dancing. Loads. Always a great time at a wedding celebration. The schedule was also a little loose. I know I drill this into my comments, but it’s just really important. Having time to breathe during the day just helps everyone.
If you’re considering a mountain venue, you can’t go wrong with the Montage. It’s beautiful. The flow is excellent. Beautiful backdrops, mountains for miles, an incredible lawn, massive decks, more of everything. And the staff is really incredible. Very generous. I know that’s too be expected with a very high-end property, but I’ve never felt like the service wasn’t genuine.
Loved this event.
